Statement: Dec. 2 safety incident at feed plant

FCL has become aware of a safety incident at its Co-op Feed Plant in Calgary. We’ve confirmed all employees that were on site have been safely evacuated. Emergency services were immediately contacted and responded to a fire on site. We’re working with them and will be investigating the incident in the coming days.

We appreciate the quick response of the Calgary Fire Department and have heard reports of a firefighter with minor injuries. We hope they have a speedy recovery.
