Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is committed to procuring – or helping coordinate the procurement of – quality products at competitive prices for our independent, retail co-operative members, who in turn offer these products to their customers. Our network of approximately 160 retail owners throughout Western Canada has an extremely loyal customer base that has supported us for over 90 years.
We have a long tradition of sourcing local products and supporting local business. We’re committed to collaborating with suppliers to understand their environmental and social performance and identifying future supply chain opportunities across all business lines.
What we look for in our suppliers
We work with local suppliers who can help us achieve our vision of building sustainable communities together. These suppliers offer a high standard of service and quality products and share our values of integrity, excellence and responsibility.
We serve 600 communities across Western Canada, each unique in perspective an experience. We believe that diversity should be reflected in our supply chain. That belief is rooted in our values, vision, and commitments to Indigenous engagement and Diversity and Inclusion.
