Co-op fuel supply high as Prairie seeding approaches

Spring seeding is just around the corner and Co-op continues to be well-positioned to meet the increased fuel demands of Western Canadian farmers as they head into the field.

Co-op has proactively positioned fuel throughout our extensive fuel distribution network to be as close to our farm customers as possible, whether it be through bulk delivery or at our cardlocks. Fuel supply is high and there are no production concerns at the Co-op Refinery Complex, which continues to run safely and reliably.

In preparation for the rush of spring seeding, Co-op began early spring delivery of fuel to Western Canadian farms in March. Producers that fill up in March and April benefit from delayed billing at participating local co-ops, which helps them to free up their cash flow.

Co-op has ample supply of other products needed for seeding this spring, from seed and feed to fertilizer and crop-protection products. Working alongside our grower-customers, local Co-op Grow Team members will continue to provide trusted advice by phone, email, text and video conversations in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Co-op Fuel Team works closely with farmers, providing advice on storage tanks, remote tank monitoring and propane system installations. They also have expert knowledge on Co-op’s lineup of seasonally adjusted fuels and synthetic and non-synthetic lubricants. Co-op products are formulated specifically for Western Canadian conditions and are designed to maintain and improve equipment performance.
