John Rudyk

John Rudyk of Fisher Branch, Man., was first elected to the Board of Federated Co-operatives Limited in 2014. As the Director of FCL’s District 15, he represents 14 retail co-operatives in northern and eastern Manitoba and western Ontario, and he also represents affiliate member Arctic Co-operatives Limited.

As an FCL Director, John is a member of the Board’s Human Resources and Credentials Committees. In addition, he is the Board’s representative to the Manitoba Cooperative Association and The Co-operators.

John was first elected to the Board of Ukrainian Farmers Co-op in 1994 and has served as President of its Board since 1996. He has taken numerous management training seminars.

John owns and operates a family farm. He has previously owned and operated a number of outfitting and vacation companies and worked as a Legislative Constituency Assistant, surveyor, claims adjuster, railroad carman/welder and heavy equipment operator.

John has always taken a very active role in his community. He currently acts as a Director on the Board of the Ukrainian National Home Association, and is a member of the Fisher Branch Chamber of Commerce. John has recently retired from the Manitoba Municipal Board. In the past, he also served as a Director on the Fisher Game and Fish Association, the Northern Trail Blazers Snowmobile Club and the Crown Lands Appeal Board.

John and his wife, Donna, have three children.
