FCL invites applications for the position of Administrative Assistant (Temporary up to 14 months) in our Co-op Refinery Complex located in Regina, SK.
The Administrative Assistant is responsible to provide administrative support to the Process Department. This support would come in the form of the preparation of documents and presentation materials, drafting letters, fielding inquires, making phone calls, organizing and filing information, preparing and distributing minutes, and data entry.
Reporting to Operations Superintendent, responsibilities for this position include the following:
- Data entry and document management
- Assist process group in the preparation or editing of minutes, presentations and other documents
- Assist the Process Schedulers with calling employees for overtime coverage
- Assist the Process Schedulers with monitoring Health & Safety training expiry dates for all process operators and update schedule to ensure training is scheduled and kept current
- Assist with weekly payroll reviews
- This position will also supply daily coverage and vacation relief for the Process Scheduling position
- Assist with facilitation of meetings
Qualifications include a Grade XII plus an Office Administration certificate from a recognized technical or vocational institute along with a minimum three years’ of related experience. Candidates must have a high level of computer skills and have excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
