Roman Coba is Vice-President of Technology for Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL). As Vice-President, Roman is responsible for helping meet the ever-changing needs of the Co-operative Retail System (CRS) and its customers through innovative technology solutions.
Roman began his career in information technology as a programmer, progressing through various key roles and leadership positions within his field of expertise. He has become a key transformative leader in the industry on a global, national and regional basis. Previously, Roman held key technology and business leadership roles with Wal-Mart International, Loblaw Companies Limited and McCain Foods in various parts of the globe, bringing a wealth of knowledge, ideas and innovative processes to FCL. Roman was responsible for integrating critical technology and business processes to better deliver innovative programs. He has also led efforts to increase productivity and improve performance in order to deliver current and next-generation services more efficiently within organizations.
Roman is an active member on various technology and industry association boards. He holds an undergraduate degree in computer science and a specialist Diploma in Programming and Analysis with over 30 years of experience delivering technology and innovative solutions.
