Shannon Patterson is the Vice-President, People and Culture for Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL).
In this role, Shannon collaboratively leads Human Resource initiatives and practices and the ongoing evolution of the People and Culture business unit to ensure maximum value for the Co-operative Retailing System. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, she also contributes to the strategic direction and management of FCL.
Shannon joined FCL in 2013 and has held several positions within the organization, including Human Resources Manager, Director HR Advisory Services, and Associate Vice-President of HR Connect. During her time at FCL, Shannon has worked with stakeholders from across the organization, leading many organizational changes. She has also been instrumental in leading the transformative, enterprise-wide HR technology initiative.
Shannon is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) and holds a Bachelor of Arts – Sociology degree and a Business Administration certificate from the University of Saskatchewan. She has extensive experience and exposure through board and community involvement, including the Co-operative Superannuation Society, the Royal University Hospital Foundation, and the Professional Conduct Committee for CPHR Saskatchewan.
