Kyle Sokul

Vice-President, Supply Chain

Kyle Sokul is the Vice-President Supply Chain for Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL).

As Vice-President, he is responsible for the management of FCL’s merchandise (Food and Hardware) distribution and transportation operations, FCL’s Procurement function, including providing procurement services to CRC and other manufacturing facilities, Petroleum Supply and Distribution and FCL’s Facilities Design and Development team which provides project development and project delivery services to local Co-ops and FCL business units.

Kyle began his career with FCL in 2019 as the Director of Procurement where he led the development and creation of FCL’s first centre-led procurement team. During his time as Procurement Director, Kyle was able to support many local Co-ops and business units across FCL, providing him with a solid understanding and appreciation for the Co-operative Retailing System.

Kyle holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Operations Management from the University of Saskatchewan (U of S). As his career progressed in the supply chain field, he obtained his Supply Chain Management Professional designation from the Supply Chain Management Association of Canada. Additionally, Kyle has certifications in Strategic Business Negotiations from Ivey School of Business and is trained in both Root Cause Analysis and Six-Sigma process improvement methodologies.

Kyle has always called Western Canada home with his formative years having been spent in small town Saskatchewan. He has been fortunate to find a rewarding career in supply chain with locally-based, global organizations. Prior to joining FCL, he spent his early career at the Canadian Lightsource Synchrotron at the U of S followed by many years in fertilizer and agriculture with Nutrien and its predecessor companies, Agrium and PotashCorp.
