FCL invites applications for the position of Accounting Technician – Reconciliations in our home office located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
Reporting to the Retail Accounting Supervisor, responsibilities for this position include the following:
- Prepare general ledger and sub-ledger reconciliations within required deadlines and make necessary adjustments.
- Prepare journal entries as required.
- Prepare year end working paper files within required deadlines.
- Prepare retail communications regarding reconciliations as required.
- Maintain department files as required.
- Reconcile bank accounts.
- File monthly PST returns.
- Other duties as assigned.
The successful candidate will have a high school diploma plus one introductory accounting course (from an accredited post-secondary institution) and no related experience. Or, a High school diploma and 1 year relevant accounting experience.
